Made in our own factory in Victoria, in the blade size, frame and colour that suits the room. Measured by us, installed by us, and shown to you in 3D before you commit to anything.
We make four: 63mm, 76mm, 89mm and 114mm.
Bigger blades mean fewer of them, a clearer view out and a more open look, which usually suits living areas and larger windows. Smaller blades suit smaller windows, and give you more privacy when they are closed. Most homes end up with 89mm, but we will show you the difference at the measure rather than talking you into one.
How a shutter meets the window matters more than most people expect. We make L-frames and Z-frames for recess fits, face-fit frames for openings that will not take a recess, U-channel for fixed panels, and hang strips where the reveal is too shallow for anything else.
If your opening is out of square - and in an older Victorian home it usually is - that is a measuring problem, not a reason to compromise. We build to the opening you have.
Hinged, sliding on a track, bifold, fixed panels, bay windows and 90-degree corner windows. Sliding suits wide openings and doorways where a hinged panel would be in the way; bifolds fold back in pairs so you can open the whole span.
PVC, timber and aluminium. PVC is the practical choice for bathrooms, kitchens and anywhere with moisture, and it holds a white finish without yellowing. Timber suits a room where the grain is the point. Aluminium is for outdoors and for spans that need the strength.
Standard colours are Pure White, White and Cream, with natural timber and stained finishes available, and custom colours if you are matching something.
It depends on the size of the window, the blade size and the frame, so an honest number needs a measure. What we can say is that buying from the manufacturer removes the retailer margin, which is usually the biggest single line in a shutter price. The measure and quote are free and there is no obligation.
